Using Dexibi

Multi-step tasks

For anything beyond a single click, Dexibi’s agent plans the steps, carries them out across apps, and checks each one.

How a task runs

  1. Observe: read the active window (and a screenshot if needed and allowed).
  2. Decide: choose the next step.
  3. Act: click, type, open, scroll or move files.
  4. Verify: look again to confirm it worked, then continue or finish.

The panel shows each step live, with the app it happens in. When it finishes, Dexibi tells you what changed, and what it couldn’t confirm.

When Dexibi asks

  • Acts directly for clear, low-risk, reversible things: navigating, opening, scrolling, playing media.
  • Infers follow-ups such as “fix it” or “do the same thing” from the screen and recent tasks.
  • Asks one short question only when it truly can’t tell, or when the choice matters: recipients, amounts, deletions.
  • Confirms before anything consequential; see Safety.

Limits

Maximum steps per task
Stops a task that keeps going. Your plan also sets an upper limit (8 on Free, up to 50 on Heavy).Default: 20 steps
Task time limit
Cancels a task that runs too long.Default: 3 minutes
Repeated actions
An identical action is refused after it has run twice, so Dexibi changes approach instead of looping.

Stopping and undoing

Say “stop” or press Ctrl+Alt+Backspace at any time. Undo isn’t automatic: say “undo that” and Dexibi presses Ctrl+Z in the app, or tell it what to change back.

Allowance

Multi-step tasks use your plan’s AI allowance. If it runs out mid-task, Dexibi stops starting new steps and tells you what it already did. See Plans & usage.
