Troubleshooting
Most problems come down to one setting. Find yours below.
Dexibi doesn’t hear me
- Check the microphone in Voice & microphone: the level meter should move when you speak.
- Windows Settings → Privacy & security → Microphone must allow desktop apps.
- Raise Sensitivity if you speak quietly.
It ignores me (Only my voice)
- Try Relaxed strictness, or re-record your voice with the microphone you use most.
- Colds, whispering or a new headset can lower your match. Re-recording fixes it.
It reacts to the TV or other people
Set up Only my voice and use Strict. Choose a wake phrase you don’t hear on TV.
Hands-free won’t turn on
Turn on Enable wake phrase and Hands-free in Wake word, set Listening mode to Hands-free, and allow Cloud AI processing in Permissions.
Clicks don’t work in one app
If that app runs as administrator, Windows blocks input from normal apps. Run it normally. Secure screens (sign-in, UAC) are never controllable.
“I couldn’t find an app called …”
Dexibi looks in your Start menu. Say the name as it appears there (“open Visual Studio Code”), or describe it and the agent will find it.
AI tasks don’t run
- Allow Cloud AI processing in Permissions.
- Check AI → Check connection.
- Check your allowance in Plans & usage.
It clicked the wrong thing
Raise Required confidence in Safety, and use the exact words shown on screen. Say “undo that” to press Ctrl+Z.
