Safety & confirmations
How careful Dexibi is before acting. These checks are enforced by the app itself, not by the AI model. This page also documents Settings → Safety & automation.
Risk levels
Every action is classified before it runs:
| Level | Examples | Default behaviour |
|---|---|---|
| Low | Scrolling, opening apps, playing media, reading the screen | Runs immediately |
| Medium | Typing text, changing a field, pressing Enter, saving or closing a document, reading the clipboard | Runs immediately (configurable) |
| High | Sending, publishing, deleting, buying, installing, security changes | Always asks first |
Settings → Safety & automation
- Ask before
- Which actions need your confirmation: high-impact only, medium and high, or every action.Default: High-impact only
- Approve by voice
- Say “yes”, “go ahead” or “confirm” to approve. Dexibi first reads out exactly what will happen. Turn off to require a click for every approval.Default: On
- Required confidence
- How sure Dexibi must be that it found the right control before clicking (50–99%). Higher means fewer mistakes but more “I couldn’t find it”.Default: 80%
- Send screenshots to cloud AI
- When off, Dexibi Cloud receives only accessibility information, never screenshots.Default: On (when Screen understanding is allowed)
- Maximum steps per task
- Upper limit on actions in one task (also capped by your plan).Default: 20
- Task time limit
- Cancels a task that runs longer than this.Default: 3 minutes
Always enforced
- No passwords or codes: Dexibi never types into password fields and never reads secrets aloud.
- Screen content is data: instructions found in web pages, emails or documents can’t change your request or these rules.
- No stale clicks: clicks are refused if the window or the area around the target changed.
- Honest results: Dexibi says “Done” only with evidence; otherwise it tells you it couldn’t confirm.
- Secure screens are off limits: sign-in, UAC prompts and the lock screen can’t be reached by Dexibi.
Stop everything
Say “stop” or press Ctrl+Alt+Backspace. Declining a confirmation never retries the action.
